Failed Robbery Attempt Ends with Perpetrator Getting Punched

In March last year in Vittoria, in the province of Ragusa, a 44-year-old with a criminal record allegedly attempted to rob a gas station attendant. The man, with his face obscured by a helmet and scarf, reportedly brandished a knife at the gas station attendant and threatened to enter the office where the attendant kept the earnings. However, the attendant reacted by punching the 44-year-old. During the attempted robbery, the man also caused severe cuts to the gas station attendant’s middle finger and right thumb. The man was arrested in recent days and taken to Ragusa prison.
