In a March incident last year in Vittoria, located in Ragusa province, a 44-year-old individual with prior convictions allegedly tried to rob a gas station. Masked with a helmet and scarf, he reportedly wielded a knife at the station’s attendant, threatening to access the office where the day’s earnings were kept. However, the tables turned when the attendant delivered a punch to the suspect instead. In the midst of the robbery attempt, the suspect also inflicted serious cuts to the attendant’s middle finger and right thumb. Subsequently, the suspect was apprehended and incarcerated at Ragusa prison in recent days.
